Herbs for me are usually plants I like to drink as an infusion or to cook with- that provides enough for magical purposes for me. With the exception of making olive oil infusions (calendula, lavender, rose…) for lotion/salves/ soaps. Salts for a foot soak? I seriously need to sort through things as well!!! 💜💜💜💜💜

Dandelion root makes a great substitution for coffee... dandelion root extract kills cancer...bay leaf , you can make laurel oil with .. just soak in olive oil a few month, store in a dark place....you can use it for cuts by metal or rusty metal...in the old days, they used laurel oil as a tetnus preventive.

Im not surprised she has kitty....cats are so spiritual and tuned into the universe ....they are ancient, wise souls. ❤

I was feeling this way about 2 weeks ago, I was getting bored with my practice I needed to feel more magic in my daily routine I just needed more magic in my life, so I went back to using days of the week spells, and I've been doing that for 2 weeks and so far it's helped bring more of that magic into my everyday routine and life, and it's working with the gods and goddess of that day, even if I didn't need to do to do that spell I did anyway, if it's a spell that has to do with protection I just worked on mine,, , I'm very easy to get bored my ADHD can get the best of me sometimes, 😂😂

Thanks for this video; it gave me lots to think about. I politely disagree with the hot take about people treating deities as pets. I believe Deities are omniscient, omnipresent spiritual beings. As such, I believe they could hypothetically decide to take a trip to Starbucks with you since they can be everywhere simultaneously without harming their ability to be anywhere else. Do they actually do this? Probably not that often, but I have had deities randomly interject themselves into my day-to-day life to share their own two cents about something I was doing, watching, or reading. Apollo in particular, has a sense of humor and will randomly pop in to share his opinions. You can feel your deities in the things they represent too, without them having to take the time to directly communicate or send signs. I feel Apollo in the sunlight, I feel Aphrodite in the beauty of the natural world and in the feeling of love I get when caring for my dog. Little things like that that show they are always with you and that you are never alone. Same with deceased loved ones.

About a year after I realized that I was called to this way, by Odin, I was greeted by Tyr. I had recently learned of him and the stories. He greeted me in a subtle yet clear way. of all places, I was at a small. Mexican deli, for lunch. As I was leaving, I noticed a small statue of a Norse God. Kind of out of place! The statue was sort of waving, but the right hand was broken off! Right then I knew it was Tyr, and that he had a sense of humor. Hit me a little later that it was a Tuesday.

I’m a super baby pagan and I want to worship Hades and Dionysus, I don’t understand contacting them no matter how much I research. I’ve heard you have to reach out and confirm that you can worship both at the same time, I’ve also heard there are a bunch of rules for altars and offering, and if you do it wrong the deity will reject you. I was wondering if anyone could help me that works with Hades of Dionysus.(Mainly Dionysus)

I’d like to chime in and give another example for those that might still struggle with this explanation. In the game Minecraft, the hellscape known as The Nether can only be accessed by creating a Nether Portal with obsidian blocks lit aflame by flint and steel. The game tracks where in the overworld that portal is, divides each X, Y, and Z coordinate by 8, and produces a portal in the Nether to spawn you at with those new coordinates. You can then travel in the Nether, create a new portal elsewhere, and it will reverse the coordinate calculation when producing a portal in the overworld. Practically in the game, this can be primarily useful for fast travel. This comparison reflects the “As Above, So Below” concept. What you do and where you place your portal in the Nether affects the spawn point of the corresponding overworld portal and vice versa. There are resources in each realm that the other does not have access to, and a few that are the same (like lava). Maybe shes familiar with "La Sante Muerte" Our lady of Death. A saint from the Orthodox Church. They stopped admitting she was a saint bc if "visuals" but none the less shes still one if the saints. This is huge in mexico and other areas. The took her image and made up "the grim reaper" from her. Santisima Muerte has millions of followers / devotees. Why? Bc she actually works. Things actually happen. Feminine energy with justice of Death.

Hello, I'm basque decent, mixed South american european spanish/german/native. Both my grandmothers and great grandmothers were witches ( both spanish/basque decent) , experts in herbs, flowers and influenced by native south american shamans. I have always felt the call but not sure what roots to follow: I do know my magic is green but still struggle with how to manifest what is in my blood.
